Articulate Storyline是Articulate公司继Articulate Studio 09之后于2012年5月发布的一款新的课件製作工具软体。这款软体是一个独立的、单机版的E-learning多媒体互动课件开发工具。这个软体的设计理念虽然也是效仿着名的E-learning开发工具如Captivate, Lectora, OutStart Trainer, Composica等个性化和自由度极高的软体，但是Articulate Storyline结合了Articulate Studio的一些特长，并以其独特的设计、人性化的操作界面、丰富的素材库和简洁的设定方法受到用户的欢迎。然后，与此同时也让人们为选用Articulate Studio 还是Storyline而纠结，而当看到用户在得知Storyline并没有集成Articulate Engage而失望的时候，他也许在背后窃笑。

Storyline支持导入PowerPoint、articulate engege、quizmaker、Storyline这几种格式档案。先给大家介绍最常用也最熟悉的PowerPoint导入到Storyline中会有哪些问题，同时该怎幺处理。

1.文本：导入的文本可能在字型大小，行距，对齐，颜色，或符号上有变化。

2.ppt功能：

1)演示文稿的大小

如果你导入的PowerPoint演示文稿和Storyline大小不同.

有两种方法：一是改变PowerPoint大小导入到Storyline里，二是改变Storyline与你的ppt大小相同，这个功能比articulate要好，没有固定尺寸：）。

2）嵌入字型

Storyline不支持PowerPoint中嵌入的字型。如果计算机上没有安装PowerPoint演示文稿中使用的字型，Storyline将用于默认字型代替。

3）动画

这个是我最纠结的，支持的少得可怜，要和很多很炫的动作说拜拜了:（。

进入效果动画：飞入；淡入；缩放；旋转；缩放并旋转。其他的将被转换为淡入。

退出效果动画：淡出；飞出；收缩；旋转；收缩并旋转。其他的将被转换为淡出。

强调效果动画：不支持。

运动路径动画：不支持。

4）SmartArt图形

PowerPoint中的smartart图形直接导入到Storyline中将直接被转换为图片。

如果需要编辑或修改smartart图形里的文本内容。你可以在导入Storyline前，把smartart图形打散（直到无法再打散的情况），然后导入到Storyline里，图形形状还在，而且文本也可以编辑。

5）图表

操作方法同smartart图形。

6）公式

PowerPoint中的公式导入到Storyline中将被转换为图形，无法编辑，且无法搜寻到，目前没办法解决。

7）幻灯片编号

不会导入到Storyline中，不确保不会出现问题，我测试时没有发现问题。

8）3D旋转

3D旋转不被支持，只有在PowerPoint中把3D另外储存为图像再导入到Storyline中。

9）Gif图像

Gif图像通过PowerPoint导入到Storyline中被转换为图片，Storyline本身支持Gif的，所以直接在Storyline中导入gif图即可。

10）线条粗细

PowerPoint中的线条导入到Storyline中，有可能会粗细不一致，因为他们两个使用的是不同的测量单位。

PowerPoint使用点（PT）；

Storyline使用像素（px）

总之，Storyline对PowerPoint的支持并不完美，不能和作为PowerPoint外挂程式的articulate软体相比。不过作为独立的製作软体工具已经很不错了。
