创作背景

《珍珠港》电影主题曲《There You’ll Be》是黛安·华伦的又一电影歌曲创作，其为作词谱曲者。且歌曲由Trevor Horn和Byron Gallimore製作，David Campbell整理。

歌曲创作来源于电影的故事叙述。黛安·华伦为创作歌曲，进行一周六天、一天12个小时（12 hours，six-day-a-week）的连续创作（作者在20岁时练习出的结果）。

作词者黛安·华伦完成创作后，本想找演唱过自己作品《Because you loved me》的女歌手席琳·迪翁演唱。但是被其回绝（因为其席琳·迪翁不想成为催人泪下的浪漫音乐民谣歌手）。之后才选中了乡村音乐歌手费斯·希尔演唱该歌曲。
