1993年Therion发表了带有神秘标题名的第三张专辑Symphony Masses: Ho Drakon Ho Megas，相比于死亡金属，其风格更接近于厄运金属。尝试融合了爵士乐、工业音乐、80年代重金属和宗教颂歌的这张专辑售出了约一万张，这相比于前两张专辑已是极大飞跃，但是仍然无法帮助乐队解决经济问题。Active Records不再为他们发行新的专辑，并将乐队转给Megarock Records。由于巡演反响不佳，Bathelsson和Wahl退出乐队，Fredrik Isaksson加入成为新的贝斯手。
1995年乐队发表第四张专辑，也是与Nuclear Blast合作的首张专辑Lepaca Kliffoth，这张作品更加注重于交响的发挥，同时也加入了些许的歌剧演唱，而其中的曲目Beauty In Black则成为Therion的一首经典名曲，此曲也收录于专辑前几个月发行的一张迷你CD中，这张MCD在欧洲获得了12000的销量，出乎了Christofer的意料。此曲的歌剧女音是由参与Celtic Frost传奇专辑Into The Pademonium的Claudia Maria Mokri所演唱，同时也加入了更多旋律，键盘演奏以及男中低音的演唱。此张专辑充分地展露出了Therion朝向更严谨的古典交响和歌剧风格的企图，并在发行后的几周之内卖出了15000张的数量。此后，贝斯手Fredrik由与个人因素离去，Lars Rosenberg接替了他的位置。Therion随后和Annihilator一起在德国进行巡演，并在阿根廷和智利举办了小型巡演。Lepaca Kliffoth时代阵容(1995)
1996–2001年
1996年，时逢乐队成立十周年，乐队进入德国汉堡的Impuls录音室，开始了Nuclear Blast唱片公司史上预算最庞大的录音工程，除了雇用Barmbek交响乐团外，更有两支完整的唱诗班参与（一为North German Radio Choir，一为专业的摇滚唱诗班The Siren Choir），加上一位古典乐及一位金属乐的双製作人共同合作，而第4代的成员也顺利组成，吉他手Jonas Mellberg（前Unanimated）加入了乐队。他们花费了一个半月的时间终于完成了经典巨作Theli，此张专辑销售了7.5万张（注：对欧洲重金属乐团来说已算大卖了），同时Therion亦展开了全欧洲的大规模巡迴演唱行程，包括了和Amorphis共同演出的一个长期演唱，以及一个为时两周与My Dying Bride, Sentenced, Secret Discovery和Sundown等团的音乐节演唱。Deggial阵容(2000)
2001年，专注于北欧神话主题的专辑Secret Of The Runes发行。通过这张专辑，乐迷可以最近距离的了解到Chris关于神秘学的一些背景。其实Chris本人是欧洲神秘学组织“红龙”成员，Therion作品里面的大部分歌词都是由Chris同在红龙组织的朋友Thomas Karlsson所编写。之后乐队同Evergrey和My Insanity在欧洲和拉美巡演；Karppinen离队，Richard Evensand加入作为鼓手。
同年，乐队为其官方冬粉俱乐部发行专辑Bells of Doom，其中包含了一些从未在其他专辑发行过的早期作品。
2002年，为庆祝乐队成立15周年，发行了首张演唱会专辑Live in Midgård。
2004-2006年
推行Secret Of The Runes专辑的巡演后，Christofer和Niemann兄弟整合了他们合作的55首未发行曲目，他们认为这些足够用于三张专辑的歌曲若是逐年发行并为其相应巡演费时费力，于是在2004年，乐队一口气推出两张专辑SiriusB和Lemuria。共有包括合唱团和交响乐团在内的171名艺术家参与了专辑的製作，包括新主唱Mats Levén和回归的Piotr Wawrzeniuk。相比前面编曲宏大的Vovin和Deggial，这次创作的在一些曲目中显现出了更加细腻的抒情意味，如经典曲目Lemuria更加突出乾净的旋律，配上清澈的女高音，将听众带入和以往作品里面排山倒海的气势相异的宁静氛围。专辑中收录的曲目同样都是高质量的，反应出Christofer Johnsson杰出的创作才华。
出现在Therion的专辑封面上的标誌主要是魔法学、神秘学和红龙会相关的符号。其中最常见的11角星从1993年专辑Symphony Masses: Ho Drakon Ho Megas起便出现在每一张封面上（还有其他乐队周边产品上，如乐手的吉他、贝斯上，拨片上等等），这个被称作“赛特之星(Star of Seth)”的符号象徵着卡巴拉之夜(the night side of the Qabalah)。Christofer说这个符号对他的歌词和他的魔法哲学非常重要。贝斯上的十一角星
