Almost five years ago,a handsome man named Gatsby who was born in a poor family fall in love with a princess named Daisy.Gatsby went to the army.Daisy got married with a wealthy man named Tom.Gatsby wanted to attract Daisy coming back around him after making numerous money and building a huge house where parties were held in order to know Jordan and Nick who were acquaintances of Daisy.Tom had a waitress named Myrtle whose husband named Wilson managed a poor garage business.There was one day Myrtle was killed by the car actually driven by Daisy.Tom intended to told Wilson that car belonged to Gatsby.Tom and Daisy left the East Egg.It was the madman Wilson that killed Gatsby and also killed himself.

He talked a lot about the past, and I gathered that he wanted to recover something, some idea of himself perhaps, that had gone into loving Daisy.

The story is not complicated.Because the author had similar and ridiculous experiences,we can see his reflections from rational Nick and sensitive Gatsby.

The reason why Gatsby was great is that he persisted running after what he wanted, not like most people losing their bearings as time goes by.Contradictorily,people would not relinquish easily instead of grabbing the vague green light tightly.Gatsby could be greater if he had persuaded himself.It is right humans are born with some deficiencies.

I see now that this has been a story of the West, after all — Tom and Gatsby, Daisy and Jordan and I were all Westerners, and perhaps we possessed some deficiency in common which made us subtly unadaptable to Eastern life.

We do not need to judge anyone because we might possess an advantage that others do not have.
