#哎，我要把我的大学时光读完了#
写于《Oliver Twist》（《雾都孤儿》）的倒数第二章。
《Oliver Twist》是我看的第一部英文原著小说，之所以选择看英文，仅仅是因为某一天心中萌生出的一个怪想法：把看一本英文原著小说作为自己给大学生活做的告别仪式。
但看英文原著对我来说还是很吃力的，经常会因为无法理解某一句子闹出过大笑话，比如说：误以为邦布尔先生是真心地爱着科尼太太，结果被婚后生活的改变打脸；以为罗斯小姐死于热病，为此还难过地跟舍友说女神死了，结果第二天看到罗斯小姐元气满满地康复了，打脸；以为南希没有死只是被打晕，结果下一章讲到她死了，打脸........
虽然时常遭受剧情地打脸，但毫不夸张地说，这是我看过的为数不多的、沉浸在剧情里的小说，尤其是小说前半段奥利弗的悲惨遭遇使人产生一种“就让奥利弗早点结束他悲剧的一生吧，别再折磨他了”的看法。
和《悲惨世界》里冉阿让因为偷了一块面包给他饥饿的外甥被捕入狱五年，随后开始他的传奇一生一样，《雾都孤儿》里的奥利弗也是因为为了向救济院多要一份稀饭而被救济院看作是大逆不道的行为而严厉惩罚，最后导致他的出逃，小人物悲剧的发生大概都是是源于一件很偶然的事情，当这种偶然放在当时的欧洲，偶然中又显露出必然的悲剧。
大概只有悲剧才能够唤醒人心灵中的美吧？我在奥利弗的身上看到了人性坚韧的闪光点，在南希身上看到追逐爱情的果敢，真的很美。
小说里作者毫不吝啬地称赞罗斯小姐的美，认为她是上帝派下凡间的天使，虽然事实却是如此，但南希又何尝不是上帝派下凡间的另一个天使呢？南希遇见奥利弗后所产生的善良和宁愿死也不愿离开塞克斯的忠诚，都是我渴望另一半所拥有的。
小说看到最后，随着南希的离去和强盗团伙成员的一个个落网，奥利弗的美好生活好像已经指日可待了，只是在这个时候，看书的兴趣已经大减，看完这本书，大学四年也算结束了，期间好像少了些曲折，一切都自然而然地发生着。
但我还是会看的，奥利佛和我的大学时光都需要一个正式的结尾。
